These cells are the real deal and are probably going to wind up ruling the NI-MH market, def more power than the EG4600 cells.

They have said this about the last 5 releases of IB cells and all have been failures. why would they be any different this time. Oh thats right , you are selling them.

i ment if the "SHV" is only a sticker on the battery? so I could remove the sticker and drive them here in europe because then they would look like the normal 4600s.

Hi
I did it the same as you want!!!
Take off the sticker and do not say any thing about your battery
But, my reason is to cheat my enemies....
So, respect the rule...
I think, the power between SHV and regular one are not a very big gap.
But, your reason is you can buy regular ones...so...why not?

WHat about the other "real deals" you've mentioned that turned out to be busts?

Don't know what you mean by failures. Minus the 4200's haven't seen anyone too unhappy with IB batteries.

I still never had a problem with my 42's.

these cells were the laughing stock on sunday when i went racing. people see it as just another ploy to get people to buy IB's after they lost popularity after the 'slightly volatile' 4200's.

These cells are awesome for a couple of runs! After that they decline and eventually cells begin to drop like flies. These "SHV" cells are just leftover cells that Trinity is sitting on. There is nothing different about them...

So if you are looking to have and edge at a major event I would buy these in bulk go through them with a matcher to weed out all the dead cells and you should come up with a few strong packs. But only for a few runs.

Thanks

My IB 4200 packs always die within three minutes while racing in my TC5. The IB 3800's are fine and end the race with plenty of power still left in the pack. I am very disappointed with the 4200's

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE SAME IB 4600 4 CELLS FOR OVAL RACING SINCE JANUARY 2008, 5 MONTHS LATER THESE PACKS ARE STILL GREAT. BATTERY CARE IS A MUST THESE DAYS. PROPER STORAGE, EQUALIZATION, CHARGE RATE AND TEMPERATURE ALL WILL PROLONG THE LIFE OF ANY NIMH. I WILL GIVE THESE NEW CELLS A TRY.

Believe what you want the believe. Just look around though, battery matchers that have not carried IB cells in quite a while are putting them back into their inventory lineups. That should tell you something.

never buying IBS again, even if they are the 'best thing' out.

My 2 year old GP3700s charge / discharge at a higher capacity then my 4 month old IB4200s
