yeah we were looking at this a month or so ago, we decided the figures quoted are wrong, either by losi or everyone else out there because my 13.5 goes as hard as any other motor out there

so how do you calculate the theoretical top speed and roll out when the rpm info is so off? do you just select the FDR independent of the speed and roll out?

Hey rocketron question, Do you know the part number to the 4-cell heat sink replacement cover and how do you like it so far for 1/12th scale?

Here it is: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSB9352

I've run it using both the 10.5T and 13.5T locally without any issues at all. We have some pretty quick guys here in SOCAL and never felt i was down on power or punch.

ITs friday nite and the horrizon crew is in bed so ill see if there is any help here..

Got my new system and having issues getting the USB adaptor to turn green and be scene in the setup software.,

VISTA System
-AVG turned off
-installed included software
-plugged in usb adaptor
-vista attempts to find but cannot find drivers
-went online dl the newest software repeat above steps, reboot as promted
-nothing works. Software does load though.
-tried device manager and manually point the adaptor to the driver folder in the losi folder...message reads "found driver yadayada... ACESS IS DENIED
-If i Try anything with AVG turned on and it comes up with 2 virus warnings: Fujacks from file name driver\slabunin2k.exe right after it fails to load the found driver

Short story softwar installed.... USB Adaptor turns red but wont take drivers

Ideas? Is Losi including a free virus in every box? LOL

Are you sure the USB port is functional that you are plugged in to? If you are still having issues I have a Vista box here I could try to install it on and see if I get the same issue. I mainly run XP though but I could test it out for you.

So it is just an AVG thing, not a driver issue under Vista? I did notice something in that the download section of the Losi site does not work. I though it was an issue on my end, but asked a friend to try it and he had no luck either. So Ron, someone there may want to look into that.

Joel
with Vista you need to log on as the ACTUAL admin account even IF you have those privlidges. You can also run the INSTALL program as the actual admin while your logged in as yourself.

keep AVG turned OFF. There are no virus on the drivers

the software on the cd is the same as can be downloaded

do not use ANY firmware on the CD get that from the web support site

any other issue please post back ok?
