Right now, I am considering a Cross Fire Force CF108. The deciding factor at this point is whether it will fit my Orion lipo. So you're saying that the Orion 3600/3800 won't fit? If that is the case, since the size and shape of the 3600 and 3800 are similar to the old 3200 Orion lipo, that one won't fit either. What I don't understand is, how do stick packs fit if they have nearly identical dimensions to the Orion lipo casing? Can someone help me out here?
Thank you,
Ken

the orion 3600/3800 might fit if you file off the bumps on the underside of the battery. or if you install the pack upside down (and dremel holes on the underside so you can still connect to the bullet connectors).
the reason why the orion packs don't fit is because of the arch holding the battery on the chassis (at the sides, under the "wings"). the orion packs have a flat top while the battery holder has an arch. you can probably dremel the arch so that the orion packs can slide through. but since i didn't want to do this (wanted to keep the kit as original as possible), i opted to get stick pack lipos (i.e. Trinity 4000mah).
Also, it seems that the orion packs are a tad bit longer than your usual stick packs. this forces the "wings" or end tabs to bend upward.

As I am on the verge of buying a F1 car, I've been wondering how the lack of suspension play on a F1 car, or any pan car for that matter, dictates the type of surface that the car can run on. The track I run on has some banked turns, so it'd be a waste to buy a car that wouldn't be able to deal with the uneven surface well. From his past experiences, a guy at a local shop expressed doubt that a pan car would work well on that track. What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Ken
