Wow! Thanks Snoop.
Well I know MX likes his car.
We could have made a car with all Tamiya parts but then it would have been an upgrade kit. that we have so people asked for a car that would cost around the same price as a Tamiya F103 and that is the best we could do.
MLP Adapter That was made for the F201 back in its day.
There ya have it I was wrong.

You are correct, it was Dan's R/C. OD of the ring was the same as the ID on a standard spur gear, ID of the ring was OD of the Tamiya bearing that fits on the driveshaft. And also correct, HPI used to package such a plastic ring with their purple spur gears. I believe that Parma did the same with their mid 90's Rocket spur gear series.

Man I ran to go turn marshal a car. I bent over real quick to get it back on its wheels and I couldnt stand up afterwards. I do this for a living (Take care of spinal injuries) and without an MRI for proof, I have at least slipped a disc. Maybe herniated one. I couldnt even stand up without excruciating pain at first, or for the rest of the day. Now I can stand up with excruciating pain. I can even walk, but I cant out run an old lady with a walker. Sucks!

Ouch! I know all too well the deal with that. I still carry the 8 inch scar from my spine surgery. I feel Mo'better now though.
Yes Marty, the car is at the top of the heap in the F1 world and I could not be happier. Actually I was happier when I took it back from Snoopy. I hope it becomes the standard for F1 racing.

Well Thanks MX. I do also.
I will reword this:
I have been working on our own front suspension (for some time now). but time and money is all it takes as they say and well I have a lot of one and not enough of the other.
Not sure where your going Snoop tell me what it is you would do again, I missed it as it went over my head.
I also have injured my back back in 1987 I fractured the T2 to the T7 vertebrae back in 1987.
I have been fine with little pain for years now.
I did however take a dresser upstairs by my self and when I went to set it down I felt a spongie feeling in the lower back and have had pain for a few months now.

You already have it covered on one of your other F1 cars. Its just that on the car George has, the MLP parts look far superior to the remaining Tamiya parts. ( The front suspension) But I read somewhere that you had been working on your own, and somewhere I saw some pictures that looked like you had that worked out.

I am curious to see where some of the HOT shots in the US and if there is an interest in the Wisconsin/Ill. Area to run F1's? It looks good for my local track for the class this fall. I have been running my F103GT the last two weekends and people are interested.

Is your RM built yet? I'm going to mask tonight, so still not ready this week. Both cars look exactly the same at the moment though. No wings, no bodies, No battery connectors. We'll probably be over at the track on Sunday afternoon just to get some kind of practice.
