i had a stock tb01 before and it was easy to waterproof it. i covered the bottom of the chassis opening for the motor and installed the included lexan dust cover. i just used the mabuchi 540 motor because things really heat up inside the chassis especially since there is no air vent. in light rain and puddles, no water entered. but in really wet conditions, duct tape could be used to further seal the electronics inside. but this will be a hassle for changing batteries.

.....anyway, the rally conversion and the escudo body are on the way. Sorry, I'm a Team Associated man and won't drive anything else. And whats to say you can't put a inner body on it...

Get the innerbody for a TB01 and some velcro tape, this should seal up that tc3, then get the Associated Chassis protector sheet (FT options) and cover then entire underbody of the car. The car should be fairly tight then.

Does the TB01 cover actually work? Has it been tried?

thanks Modena.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. If it works, I might try it.
