hm those diff covers look interesting .... see if i can source for them ....

hm..... so... u dont have any spacers on the rear -rear a arm mount ?
only 2mm on the front- rear a-arm mount ....?
and nothing at all on the front??

cool.....

i will be trying 8mm on the front rear aarm mount and 6mm on the rear rear part ....when i get to do it
will post my findings ...

front is stock woth 0.7 mm ones

my own work that one...not too hard though!

i'll use it at the Nats at times, but we also have some special "Team Sheltered Workshop" bodies on the way, if your at the nats you will see them on the track...they will stand out!

well i raced my 414 on sat and im happy to say that it did very well and i won the sportsman class now im going to try it on the carpet wensday

On the topic of winning, it was a 1,2,3 Tamiya finish in the Expert Stock class in that race. I was 3rd only because I had a bad start.

Can anyone clarify for me what raising and lowering the arm mounts on the M2 achieves. I have had soo many people tell m soo many different answere i thought it was time to ask the real racers.

if you raise the arm mounts it lowers the cars roll center

ive read about locked diffs in the TC3 thread. have any of you guys tried a locked front diff for the 414? i run my 414 in a technical track and recently replaced the front and center one-ways with a front diff and fixed center pulley to convert it to full time 4wd. i was wondering if there are advantages to using a locked front diff. thanks for any info

On the subject of diffs, is it normal for the diff pulleys to wobble around when they spin? There seems to be a bit of slop in them.

ive heard of people doing this when i at the reedy race when they locked the front diff it supposudly acted like a one way, thats what i hear.

the dif wobbles slightly i noticed sometimes
