Ok, firstly, yes I own both a TRF414 and TRF414M, and soon to be owner of the WCR edition as well.
Now, as pyramid said earlier, the TRF414 belt is considerably smaller than the TRF414M belt....

Just read couple pages from last posts (1 page behind I think) and you will find the answer...

Edited: Sorry, it is actually in the Prices in Hongkong under "Hong Kong R/C" regional section (HKD3650)

Can someone tell me if the bearings on the bulkheads and center shaft holder are removeable? I'd like to replace the crummy metal shielded one with some better bearings (teflon). Its just that they seem pretty well secured and may need some force to wedge out.

Try:

- Front uprights: make sure that Left is C1 and Right is C2. It will lower the front roll center (if you had it opposite.)
- Raise the rear roll center. It will have a more gentle entrance then break loose in the mid-corner.
- If your track is low traction, remove the rear swaybar. I learned that because of the low traction, the rear tires won't reach the peak slip angle. With a rear sway-bar, the weight will be transferred to the outside of the tire, thereby increasing the rear grip. So remove it!
- Mount all shocks on outer-most holes (but it will be more twitchy.) Usually whenever I try this, I need to use the TA04 10deg. castor blocks to smoothen it out again.
- Play around with the steering exponential on your radio.
- Flip the steering rack backwards to change the ackerman (but you may scrub corner speed.)
- Make sure you have the right tires! (this car is very sesnsitive to different tires and inserts, like any other car!)

Aurra, I could be mistaken but won't C1 on the right (ala same side as the spur) lower the roll centre for the front? With C1 on the right the tires are mounted lower. Anyway on the track I feel with C1 on the right the car has more front bite.

Here's my current setup. It has a lot of corner speed and steering, but a lot of turn-in. I need to dial that out next time. For a soda traction, asphault, very technical track.

Front: Blue sway bar, -1.5° camber, 1.0° toe-out, 3mm under upper link, droop 3mm
Rear: No sway bar, -2.0° camber, 1.5° toe-in (one-dot block on the RF block) 3mm under upper link, droop 4mm
Roll center: FF: 0.7mm FR: 2mm RF: 2mm RR: 0.7mm

TA04 10° Caster Block
Associated Blue Springs, 60wt oil all around, shocks mounted outer most

Alvin - Nah, I think you have it backwards... I think
