The bumper is the TA04R bumper. But I don't know about that thing holding the bumper.

About the shocks. I saw a guy at TCS using those kinda shocks too. I don't think it's just simply being annodized by the driver, I think Tamiya does sell those kinda shocks. But I can't find the part number anywhere.

The shocks might have been Yokomo threaded shocks. I heard a lot of the team drivers prefered them over the TRF units.

TRF- Don't wanna argue, but you maybe dissappointed if you ordered the 04-R bumper and didn't get what you saw on David's car, His bumper was simply a 414 bumper that had been molded with a dremel.

The TRF factory team hasn't used Yokomo shocks since the Yatabe Worlds. The shocks shown in the pics of David Jun's car aren't from the Reedy Race, but from the ROAR Carpet Nats. The shocks he is using are the Tamiya threaded shocks with the Tamiya blue caps that came with some of the TA03-TRF kits and I think he is using Yokomo threaded adjusters.

They are both great cars. The 414M will have better suspension geometry options and be stiffer overall (advantage or disadvantage?)

I had the Yokomo threaded shocks on my TB01 but the threaded shock with the 414M are just fine. Trying to sell the TB.

I really starting to doubt that TRF414M is a limited editon. Tamiya seems to have tons of TRF414M in stock. It's either that or they are not selling very well in the State.

Like the TB-EVolution. It started out as a limited editino and they had the "limited edition" printed on the box and on their website. However, the supply never seems to end. And now when you check tamiya's website. Where are the words "limited edition" goes in TB-evo's page? it's not there anymore.

I guess they are always "limited" until the demand are high

To my understanding, both TB-E and TRF414M is not selling very well in USA. So that's why they are still available.

Well I see the oppposite. the 414m is out selling other cars specially on the usa. Japan they are selling many, but tamiya has produced soooooooooo many of those 41m and tb01 specials that its does seem that way.

I'm not complaining. I hope they have billions of 414M's. I don't have to ever worry about parts or what ever else I may want. If they aren't selling well in the states I would say a lot of people are sleeping on this chassis.
