rccarracer: When the cars are actually released you can get M parts from distributors and it will be easier to get M parts.

To All: The Red Box is the M2 and thats it. The Black box with the Yellow Sticker is the Memorial Chassis.. That comes with some tools and a protoform body.. Both cars are exactly the same. In the US we will see the M2 with no tools and body in Japan ie the red box. In japan they get the one with the tools and the body ie the Black Box.

RALF: Only major difference is the rear delrin diff and the bulkheads are blue.

Main Parts you want are really. just Castor blocks and Steering Knuckles. Those are the only things that really break on the car. Those are normal 04 parts.

Usagi's wife is probably stressing him out again.
Please get back to the topic at hand, this has nothing to do with the Tamiya TRF414M, 404x, 414, 414x. Keep it on the topic.

Ummm no this has absolutaly nothing to do with tamiya sedans.

Cut the personal comments guys.

...I run LRP. That's because I get them free. But if I had to buy an esc, I would still buy LRP.
But of course your going to say that or you could jepadise your sponsorship.

Usagi hates LRP and has had bad experiences with them, he has a view of them as does everybody else in RC, I wouldn't buy LRP Quantum because I've heard of way too many blow-ups, that's my view. I've got a keyance, it's great and I doubt I will ever switch to another company for an esc. Please switch back to the topic or at least a semi-related topic. Cut the personal comments and chat positively not negatively. Your allowed to share your views on this forum and that is what makes it different to other forums I've been on. This was not in any way ment as a flame I don't hate anybody on this forum and I don't want to be hated, If you have a problem with what I have said in this post please (pm) me about it. Thanks for reading.

Ok... bringing it back to 414Ms...

414M Vets:

1. What would you say are worthwhile items to buy for the car?

2. Where can I get good strong screws and which ones do I get (there are so many diff types...)

3. Anyone know who still does anodizing work?

The 414M comes with both front and centre one-way. Get the TA04 Ball Diff Set and a center 4WD pulley to convert the car to full time 4WD. There is also a problem with the steering knuckles. Try to get After-market aluminium knuckles; it is quite easy to strip the screw holes of the stock knuckles. That should be about all....
