414MII Owners: I need your help... should've confirmed this before I bid... but what's the color of the MII Chassis box? Is it red?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ndexURL=0&rd=1

Why is the box of the Special Edition MII (with body, tools and Delrin parts) the same as the regular M box?

regards,

jwwu

...I run LRP. That's because I get them free. But if I had to buy an esc, I would still buy LRP.

The part number with car body, tools, and those extra stuff is the 49220. And the part number for the kit without the tools and body is 49219. So I suppose it comes with different boxes.

The regular M's box is black. I don't know about the one with tools and body being black though. I think that kit is only released in Japan.

well,...
u jus successfully bid for the 414m2 at a price of US329...
the box is in red,...different frm wat i saw...

there r a couple of possibility here,i try 2 list them out but i might not b 100% rite...
1)the 414m2 is without serial number.(there r 2 versions available,1 with serial no. n the other without...)

2)it is the package tat u r talking abt, with tools,...

which ever is the case,i think u got a veri good buy...the 414m2 should easily cost over US329...

anyway,Congrs!!!

I'm worried about the possibility of a third possibility:
(3) A "fake" 414M2!

I wanna ask around before I ask the seller...

I'm also wondering 'cos the 414M2 with the extras supposedly looks like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1722834287

(By the way, Ijnek, you're Malaysian/Singaporean? I'm Singaporean... which means shipping is only $15. If this is the real 414M2, I think I lucked out.)

jwwu, I think you bought the chassis-only version. I think the other version has a body and special tools included, so it costs more.

jwwu: I just briefly helped you to look around. That seller you mentioned is a dealer from HK. Here's the URL:

http://shopping.rcmodel.com.hk/eshopping/default.htm

The same picture is now on the above page. That's why under the description section, he got mentioned if you buy more things from him, he'll give you more discount.

Hope it helps...

the 1 tat is in the black box is the 1 with serial number.tat i can confirm with u cos i had actually seen it b4 and the asking price was abt Sing 8++.

i think urs might b the normal version, without the serial number.the serial number will actually make the kit a collector's item thus costing more.

i'm a m'sian working in s'pore.
u got ur hands on a gd bargain!!!

jwwu,

I think you bought the kit number 49219, which is and will be sold in US without the body and extra tool set.

About the serial number thing. I don't think any of the M2 will have serial number on it. It's not like the 414X and 414 which has engraved serial numbers on it.
