WOW!

I finally raced my TRF414M for the first time.

It was great! I used a same perfect setup on my TA04R on my 414M, and it worked even better.

Finally, I "truly" won a race in modified. Had problems with stock.

Thanks to gavin for giving me a set of uprights that I broke accidentally!

Aurra Sing: Congratulations! By the way, do you have any new Japanese magazine articles for our hungry 414M owners?
I'm thinking of setting my 414M to full-time 4wd? Shall I??

Hey. I went to the bookstore and found an issue of RC Magazine. They had a great article and pics on Surikarn's 414M from the JMRCA race. But I decided not to buy it because there wasn't that much other 414M stuff in it. Sorry!

What! You mean you can read any magazine before you decided to buy it or not in the State??

Aurra.....no problem.

Congrats on the race. I didnt get to see it but I heard you did well for yourself.

Keep an eye out for those boards. They are sneaky and like to jump out in front of your car.

I would only suggest converting it to full 4WD if you really need to, I did it, and it was because it was a dusty and tight track, then it worked. But it is worth a go.

rccarracer: I'm racing on tight and dusty parking-lot most of the time too. So it wasn't a bad idea to switch to full time 4wd.

How is your Yok-SP going anyway? I still own the Yok-SP, but I believe the older Yok-MR4TC is a better car which I still race it as a spare car.

I love the special, but the 414M will always be my favourite, but because of parts supply for the 414M in Australia I will stick with the Yok for a while.

Yeah the Special is going great, and I am starting to really get accustomed to the feel, and I am running faster time, but that could be because the special is 50g lighter!!

Surikarn, took third under Masami and Hara in Singapore last year. Fast Thai guy!

Maybe I will switching back to 414M from my OVA T4. Kinda miss the M.

Gavin, running any sway bars up front and what springs are you running front and rear? Oh yea, for mod. Thanks~!

When I was at CHAMP R/C in Tokyo, I saw a whole set of Delrin parts for the 414M. It's to replace all the aluminum bulk heads to Delrin. Pretty interesting stuff. After that I went to an r/c store in Mong Kok area of HK and saw that one of the stores had parted out a 414X and sold for parts. What a shame.

Okay, I am bored.

I was just looking around and found this:

http://www.tamiya.com/japan/products...trf414m_cm.htm

Is it not called TRF414M2 anymore?
