For steering-set:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380953049554...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181777233360...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281732862060...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251468195994...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

For axles & shaft:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/250919978815...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161201164724...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (might require MST KPI knuckles? …idk)
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Overdose-Axl...item1e8ea27ef8

For knuckles (optional, since I can just modify oem knuckle and/or do the c-hub delete mod, for now):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MST-Aluminum...item1e9a5f1d5a
or
http://www.raikoudrift.com/store/product139.html

For arms (optional):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131508556473...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
&
http://www.ebay.com/itm/381233395720...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

You think the above parts will fit? Which steering-set and which axles/shafts would you pick? Which are the highest quality?

The one thing I did notice in particular though, that might be a concern - the MST KPI knuckles. They appear to use a different size inner and outer axle-bearing. The outer bearing looks like it uses a standard 5x11, while the inner uses a bigger bearing that fits over the axle’s “cup” it looks like. So this might be a compatibility issue for different axles. Maybe they’re only compatible with MST axles?

There’s also the Wrap-Up-Next knuckles. I’m not sure if they work with 4wd front axles though, or if they’re just meant for Rwd.

I love the car the way it is. It's a classic.

If I owned that, I would keep it on display and buy another beater car.

Just my humble and respectful 2 cents.

My picks (unless you can advise otherwise please):

Steering set: WUN. Because it looks to be the most universal and compatible, given it’s T (or X) shape, with “arms” on each 4 sides.

Axles/shafts: Any looks like they’ll work. Choose MST cvd’s if using MST KPI knuckles (to be safe).

Knuckles: MST KPI. Since they look easier-available and for sure they work on 4wd (from manual/pics). The WUN knuckles might be only for Rwd (?), uses odd flanged bearings and doesn’t even list bearing sizes (might be hard to find spare bearings). MST knuckles just look better designed overall and actually shaped like a knuckle (WUN looks like a block, lol).

Upper and lower arms:
WUN arms are looking good.

I'll get another car...but not for a bit (I'm not rich). I'll do some drift mods to it, then when I get a 2nd beater, I'll revert the 414M WE back to stock, for shelf-queening

Did more searching within this thread. Some say that TA04, TB Evo3, 416, 418, 419 steering racks fit. So that's promising.

Wondering if this might fit. Seems like the same fore-aft arm design like the 414M (ie: no 90º arm on the right side for servo); but with longer and curved extensions.

Will either the TA05 (53877) or TB04/TB-Evo6 (54592) direct-coupling spools fit in the Rear of a 414M?? (for drift purposes) ...They appear to have different widths, but irdk.

ps: I’ve already found which WA steering-rack/set fits (probably the hardest part figuring out). I also know that 42mm (someone says 44mm fits too) WA axles/shafts fit (obviously). I’ll most likely just use the stock c-hubs (modified) and stock knuckles (I’m on budget and not looking to spend a lot). Going to use the stock arms too.

So everything is pretty much sorted (just need to find out which spools will fit the rear).

If they are different widths. it will not fit.

Why don't you just lock your rear? Saves you money too.

I also did research, the TA04 one way diff will fit your 414M

As for WA cvds, I also wouldn't try 44mm. That 2mm difference is a lot!

Here's one.

Ah I see. So both won't fit the rear, or just one of the ones I listed??

I'd rather have a nice solid aluminum Rear spool, than a ghetto diy tape/card-stock kinda thing. But I guess I'll cut up some card-stock for the mean time.

As for the front one-way...the 414M already comes with one stock

Cheaper than the one on Ebay.
