The TRF414M WCR kit manual is available on The Tamiya Club web site. You have to be a member to download.

HTH

PS You can get the TRF414X manual Here but it is only a supplementary manual.

Servo slop? Either your servo is shot or your servo saver is. But, I think your asking how to get rid of all the slop in the steering system. Change all the ball studs and ball cups on the whole car. Buy some small shimms to shim the caster blocks. That should fix 95% of your problems.

Iam currently restoring my 414m2 for racing.
I have 415 LF rear belt -big improvement!
But to free up totally This car needs a longer front belt, I have done the maths:
TRF414 - 170T
TRF415 - 167T
TRF415mr - 168T
Does Anyone know what other brands use this Pitch and may have the length Iam After?
Cyclone belts same as 415 apparently, Maybe Xray, Yokomo ,Hpi?
Looking for 171/172t or 176/177t for 415mr Pulleys!

On a typical track, you are looking at between 26 to 30ish mm of rollout. Just using the stock 120T or 128T spur and pinions in range 37 to 45 will get you the rollout in the range for foams big and small! Keep around a 116T spur as well to extend the range a tad. No one can tell you a gear ratio, expecially with foams! Work out your own rollout.
