Thumbs up

At long last i will have a 414 , just won the auction for a m2 with SSG chassis and shock towers plus light weight bulkheads and a few other bits all in first class condition for a bargin price of 150.

It will go so well with my EVO III SE , looking forward to when it turns up in the post.

All you 414 lot out there go and place a order for one of these, its a tamiya part, 51063, its the 415 rear belt, it will fit the 414 and is thinner and more plyable. Worth the money i recon. The front belt is about 3 teeth to short. Rick

Looking like the release of the TRF415, has stopped talk of the 414 line of cars.

I ran my 414m2 for the first time last Sunday. In fact, I put it down for about 5 laps before the main because I couldn't get the Losi to turn. Box stock setup felt better than what the Losi was doing at the time so I played Russian Roulette and ran the car in the A main for it's first full run ever and won. It felt a little numb on cornere entry with the stock setup but it rotated pretty hard in the center of the corner, exactly where the Losi was pushing like crazy. I was very impressed with the car.

Default Lightweight parts

I have a full set of lightweight bulkheads and motor mount coming; what is the experience anyone has had with these? The weight savings seem worthwhile, but are there any other things to be aware of?

I'm planning to continue with the 414 M2 which I bought used recently; love the smoothness. This car makes me look like a better driver than I am! The previous owner had set it up in WC settings, and I haven't altered it too much from that.

dont you think the 04 is more lighter than the 414m2 alumn parts? I think the handeling of both is quite the same.

You got that right, but sometimes it hepls because i can shif some weight in the other side where all my electronics is, the 3300 are making one side of the chassis heavier,
