you can always get a yellow page and look for anodizing shops.

Thanks! Is there any other touring chassis w/c use this type? Not necessarily tamiya brands.

No, you need the tamiya part...

I've used a new roll centre setup on my 414 last friday, same as on the Evo 3 (I'm using Evo 3 suspension mounts), the car was brilliant, I'm not selling it anymore.

By the way, for those people who still use a 414, here are some tips I've been using recently :

- Offset the motor mount by 1.5/2 mm to center the motor,

- offset the servo by 6mm inwards, using TB3 servo stay and cutting an ear, the servo stay going under the front belt (you need to re-drill holes for the servo 6mm inward, 1mm backward and a hole for the belt tensioner 5mm backwards). I recommend using a square belt tensioner with this mod,

- Sand Paper the inside of the graphite front and rear hubs so that the bearings are no longer stressed.

I would also like to know who would be interested in a low ratio set : 17T pulleys (fix and one way) and longer belts. I will try to have this made but the most quantity I make, the less it will cost. I think it's the best thing we could do to improve the car.

hey FUK,

I'm pretty sure he can do it in SSG. He has been producing chassis in Blue SG and RED SG.

There is a BMI racing froum you should really send that guy a email and see what color he can do.

i'm pretty sure he can even make GSG (Gold), since the coloring is just on a sheet of fiberglass which is lay on the very top of the chassis.

you should contact him. I have no idea how the deal will be. I don't work for him. I was just reading the BMI froum and found out that he does custom chassis. That's all I know.

Sorry if i'm not more helpful.

I have a CAD drawing of my 414.5 chassis already made. I am sending it to Fibre-Lyte next week to get made.
I will have it made from 2.4mm carbon with a 2mm battery strap.
I will post pictures of it as soon as it's finished!
