in order to run saddle packs. Only thing you will need to do is to trim away the extra carbon chassis that were used for screwing down the stick pack holder.

No, for the TA04 saddle chassis you don't need to trim away anything, it's saddle-ready. TA04 doesn't share the same chassis as the TRF414 cars.

Thanks for posting the pics! I have the original, uncompressed versions if anyone wants them.

I still have my Pro 3, but sold most of the hop ups. I found that only my first runs with my TA04R, it was better.

Thanks guys for the pictures! You are the best!
I can't understand Japanese that well, but I 've noted a few points that are worth discussing, i.e.:
- TA04 Lightweight out-drive.
- Yokomo type spacer for the rear anti-roll bar
- Lightweight universal shaft.
- Mod. front arm for lightweight and more flex, as well as for the new roll bar ball connetor.
- Less kick-up by putting the .7mm spacer to the rear (front) suspension block, hence, decrease caster angle.
- New motor heat sink.
- Yokomo style servo mounting position, shorter steering connector.
- New ball diff. dust cover??
- Thinner wheel hex with 1mm or 1.5mm spacer?? But why??
- 2 hole shock piston is also mentioned.

Those modifications are interesting. I wonder if Tamiya will incorporate them into a next generation 414... will there even be one?

Oh and are the bearings in the 414 bulkheads permanently secured? What happens if you want to replace them? You have to replace the whole bulkhead?

BTW, the page in black and white is a different car.

Yes, those are ball differential covers. They are made by Atlas.

The heat sink is made by Team Mirage in Japan.

Those two are in advertisements in the verys ame issue. Also, there are great articles of Masami, Hara's, and Adachi's cars from the JMRCA race recently.

I'll scan the ads and the cars when I have time.

Remember, if you want me to send you the large riginal uncompressed scans, PM or Email me!

Aurra did you send me all the pics?
If not can you send the rest, I'm really interested to see what the top japanese drivers are doing to their 414M's.

The scans have sent to rccarracer. Expect them soon.

The body is obviously an HPI Stratus. The grilles/lights are painted, not decals. I did a similar paint job, too!

Here are the other pics Aurra sent to me. Obviously some have nothing to do with the 414M, and others don't even have anything to do with anythng!!
But just the same, we can all have a good look!!

Can anyone tell me what the hell the mystery car is, I am stumped. Looks kind of like Hara's Pro3, with blue bits and odd looking bulkheads!
Anyway enjoy!!!
