i saw the ad... sound good. this 414 i got from here on RCTech, from minnesota, i think. looks like he mainly ran on carpet, as the chassis is hardly scraped. it is as from box, with double oneways, yellow springs... but i have a full set of sways, too. i have upgraded most all the screws to stainless hex... ill try to get some pix on here later this afternoon... or shoot me an email or pm me yours if that works better.

I didnt weight the kit one, but I can really feel the difference when holding them together. I've also stuck on the world's type front sway bar kit, I'm not sure if this will make any difference at all since the stock bar location is just fine for average racing, but if gets looks from other racers at the track. Lastly You can add a aluminum adjustible belt tensioner from square to replace the servo mount/washer set up.
If you really have money to burn you can pick up a set of light weight bulkheads.....I've seen some on ebay for around $130-$140 range that will shed a full ounce off the car.
adding to that list, you can also get the clamp-type wheel hub, and the SSG chassis.

Well, and if you are going tricked out, you can also get the Acer Racing Ceramic Nitride Pro bearing kit for your M2.

Now you will have a totally tricked out M2, and it is TCS legal.

go to acerracing.com to find infos on the bearings

I don't think there is a major difference between the ceramic bearing and the stock bearings, but ceramic bearing require less maintanence and it's lighter then the steel ball bearings.

TRF, Would the square belt tensioner make the 414 illegal for TCS? I like the idea of the ball bearing set too. Not that I'm going TCS racing soon, just want to keep my options open.

the belt tensioner would make it illegal, no question about it.

But at least other drivers are winning with the evo3, jun and the rest! hope SUrikarn, can tune his Car, soon so the EVo3 with his name on it will prosper.

Just off topic: look at the HPI Pro3, after they attached, Hara's name into it----- the Pro4 came! Will we be seeing an EVO4J (J-for David Jun?) heheheheheh
Just thinking aloud!!!! Peace to all and happy racing!!!
When surikarn went down under to race he was using the TB EVO III SE version, gee gave the guys here a beating was quite funny. Ppl where using brushless motors and he wasnt yet still kicked ass........ his really a cool driver even broke our track record in nitro

the pic below was his car when he was in sydney

a.k.a. universals... the titanium axles are lighter than the stock axles, but have the same strength as steel... this should increase accelleration by a small percent
