414M2 Tuning Aids

I will be racing this coming spring/summer on a smooth, high grip, realitively large parking lot surface. I will be using rubber tires (Sorex) with medium inserts.

My 414M2 came with a complete set of sway bars, but only a Yellow set of springs. I've read that some guys are using Associate springs (for whatever reason). Will the Tamiya spring set be sufficient for "most" track conditions?

Do you think that the new front upper sway bar is worth trying out?

Any other optional tuning parts I should consider?

Thanx

i have a guy that tried the assoc. springs on his 414 he didn't like them cuz they didn't fit QUITE right and it did effect his handling, he went back to Tamiya option springs and had no problems

I have been using Ass. springs with no problem, but you are right they are a little larger in diameter

Ok, so we know that Tamiya plans to release some really trick parts for the 414M sometime in February... anyone know/think Tamiya will release a new version of the 414M to include these new parts?

C'mon... somebody here's gotta know something!

(I'm thinking of ordering a while of hop-ups from Japan real soon... enough to substantially increase Japan's export figures... unless Tamiya plans to issue a new 414M. I would wait in that case...)
I've actually been wondering the same thing. Does anyone here have good friends within Tamiya Japan?

Merciless, use this link: http://www.arroyoc.com/gear.asp
enter your pinion gear size and transmission ratio 2.133 for the TRF414M. Hope this helps, Deves
