Dangun Racer isn't catching up in the States, like they are in Asia. I think it's becasue they are not showing the cartoon/manga here in the states.
  • I would like to see more castor settings on the car. Like TC3 or MR4TC. Adjusting the spacers under the suspension blocks changes 2 settings (anti-dive/kickup & castor) at the same time. Right now I use the stock C hubs, the TA04S C hubs as well as the 04S hubs with the mounting points cut off and mounted like the racing c hubs.

Perhaps tamiya could design tiny limited slip, negative and torsen diffs for the car, oh yeah!

I agree with you, it would be nice to have like 3-4 different castor blocks for the 414

  • I'm pretty sure the TRF drivers have 'em. After I got my nitro tourer with the pivot ball suspension I really appreciate this paticular setting...
  • I saw the pics on Team Orion of the worlds car...any way Tamiya USA going to bring this car to the states? Some of us would love a chance to race one!

    Thanks guys.

I don't think there will be many more going around considering there are only 1700 of them.
I'm pretty sure they were released in the US......correct me if I'm wrong. I can't remember, it's to late for my brain to work minus anything to drink.....
  • It wasn't released in the US, Tamiya US never brought it in it was way too expensive by the time it would arrive. Rainbow-Ten has 2-3 in stock if you want it real bad or get a 414 put the worlds front end on it get the shim kit and pocket the difference. Of course you won't have the Ti the kit comes with but you can add it also.

  • The Original, Blue front anti roll bar!
    Hey dudes,
I was testing some new settings with the original stock blue roll bar that's mounted on the front of the bulkheads, not those mounted on the upper deck.

It seems to give the car a more direct anti-roll effect compared to the worlds' roll bar (Silver roll bar seems to come into effect deeper/later in the corner). Also, it allows me to run the torque rods once again. Only now do I know how much I miss their feel Can anyone concurr this? Thanks!

Thats surprising that they were not released in the US. Yes R10 should still have 2 left. But you will be paying full japanese retail for it.....
  • Cars for crimbo
Well was anyone lucky enough to get a one for christmas ?
  • Question???
Is it possible to remove the bearings "lodged" in the bulk head without destroying the bearing? I've tried, but I can't get the diff or the center shaft bearings out!!! I just want to clean them!
  • This was outlined a few pages back....
You must heat the bulkheads slightly in order to melt the glue which holds them in there.....
  • rccarracer: Thanks. I've looked over some of the old post, but there's just so many. I must have missed that one.

So the bearings are glued in??? I've never heard of that before??? Wait-a-minute... I thought that I installed the bulkhead bearings when I built the kit... (pause)... Hmm... I can't remember whether I installed them or not. I must be getting old.

My kit is the 414M2. I'll have to look at the instructions again. I could have sworn...
  • They are pre-installed.....
I have a little experience with the 414 series, so trust me.....
