Vic,

with the rear links on the tower, this lets there be more camber gain when the suspension compreses, and with foam tires this keeps the tires from rollimg on the outer edge,
This placement keeps the tire flat through the compression of the rear arms

Casey

WYD,
The protoform BMW is nice......

i was wondering...

do these yokomo bodies come with those headlight stickers? or do we have to paint them in?

The stratus bodies, specifically the "new style stratus" and the "type d" bodies.

Also, if u notice in the second row of pictures, the yokomo stratus body has those head lights again here: http://www.oct.zaq.ne.jp/nao-jun/

are those stickers? or painted in? thanx.

Default THE ONE-WAY FRONT DIFF

What r your views on running this,or the center one and or the pair at once, like the worlds kit.
At present i,ve got both in(mainly cause i ain,t bought the fixed center one yet).
i run on carpet with foams and have found it to be better with past cars to run the front one-way but always disabled the center one :+) !!

Ummm yeah, all I ever run are RW spurs and Ti Racing pinions and they are always round. It's just that my hub or perhaps the layshaft could be off. I even tried a 404 spur hub and there is still wobble. I'll see what I can do. Guess I was spoiled with my Xray's precision.

i used to have this problem of the spur gear wobbling side to side and not staying in place. but all u have to do is unscrew the hex from the center pulley and also the loosen the spur gear hub. then, pull the spur gear w/the hub towards the center pulley as much as u can, then tighten down the spur gear. next, just pull the center pulley towards the spur gear as much as u can, then tighten that. this should get rid of the play u might have with the spur gear wobbling left to right.

BTW, does anyone have an answer to my previous question? about the yokomo bodies? stickers or painted in?? peaches.

Thanks for the info. The Spur does not wobble vertically, as seen from above. It wobbles when you look at it head on, as if the spur is not perfectly rount. I remove the spur and you can see a small wobble on the spur hub.

Also, I have seen Yok bodies in the store and they come with stickers for the lights. However, there are people out there who airbrush their own designs.

so ur saying that ur spur gear doesn't slide left to right? but instead it actually wobbles off the pinion? if this is true. dont u hear a sound when u run ur car? like a chronic sound that happens everytime u turn ur wheels one rotation. if this is the case, it's probably ur spur gear. maybe one or a few of ur teeth have been screwed. but if it indeed is ur spur hub, i suggest trying someone else's hub at the track and see if it still wobbles. but anyway..

so the yoke stratus bodies come with those exact light stickers? or are they diff? thanx. peace.

reflekt the Yokomo C body has two different front headlights you can use. It also has all the normal decals for tail lights and other feathures. The body has the protective film on the outside to prevent overspray and has window cutouts as well. I have one on my Yoke.

Jack that is cool about teh Vauxhall. Just sick of the Stratus as I have had them for the last 3 years now.

Casey I will have to get a BMW as well. I do like the looks of Beamer. I think the Vauxhall will work great. I looked last night at my Stratus 2.0 and my new Vauxhall and the Vauxhall sits a fair amount lower and tighter on the car. It seems to be very low profile. I'm ready to run it on Saturday to see how it goes.
