Tekin has 400% better customer service than Novak, try and get something warranty through Novak, your better off just to buy a new motor if you get a bad one.

Hairy,
Welcome to ignore-ville. You certainly are not afraid to say what's on your mind.

Isn't the anonymity of the internet a wonderful thing, we can all be upfront while hiding behind a non-de-plume.

Cheers

Harry,

Call me Monday. I honestly don't recall talking to you before but I talk to a LOT of people.

I'm on west coast time. I can easily be reached after 10am.

Guys, if you're using 1s applications like 1/12 and WGT and receive ANY odd behavior make 100% sure you're booster and or rx pack are getting the job done. More often than not one of those two components is causing the issue, not the esc.

Software is not the cause of Harry's issue.

i don't know about the dead spot, so i won't comment.

but worrying about what happens when the power is the speedo on 1s voltage is a non-issue. the RS just won't work on 1s voltage, plugging in the receiver battery or booster is what powers up the speedo.

i never switch the speedo switch to on, i only switch on the receiver voltage.

Thumbs up

Just a side note. I've been running the RS Pro with a 17.5 in a Losi SC conversion. This thing is dialed and the settings are awesome. (for a smooth throttle finger)

(Almost when the warranty was up it pooped. New one was sent out quickly and I'm back in the #1 spot at 4 tracks!! )

Friday night I ran an RS with a 17.5 in an old Losi XXX4. Set the fastest laps and just missed TQ due to another wreck from another driver.
The rest of the field ran 10.5 - 5.5 motors, with most running the new B44 buggies!!
That was off the shelf with no maint and blowing the dust off. Motor and esc werent even warm to the touch. Maybe 80F

Thanks again to everyone that keep giving repeated advice and help to everyone. I know it has to get old sometimes .. lol
Two names that come to mind are Smoke20 and Randy

Take care about timing value. This is not in degre but in percentage of the max timing that your rs can offer

No. Boost and Turbo are in degrees. It is only Timing Advance (which only works when the sensors fail) that is in percentage of 30 degrees.
