No, you can use one or the other or you can put a different setup in each one and you do not need the hotwire to change between them.

Sorry if this has already been covered, but can someone explain the procedure to switch between C1 and C2 without using HotWire? Thanks.

Default Hotwire 212

Hey guys ive just converted to a Tekin RS Pro and Redline 4.5 for touring mod. Ive downloaded the Vegas 212 software but i havent seen any other drivers set ups to use as a guide. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a base set up to start with that i wont blow the motor with. Our track has about a 80-100ft straight.
Im guessing i wont need to run any boost or turbo with 4.5?

Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers.

Set your speedo in dual mode.
I used for a lrp x11 4,5t a timing of 40 to 45
gearing around the 8fdr.
On the Tekin site I notist that dual mode also is changed and that you can change the rpm range. Also just like the sensord mode 2 custom settings.

I can't waith till saturday to play with the speedo.
left my car ad the track.
It is a track in an old barn from a frend of me. we built there a track and now we race there with about 15 to sometimes 20 and even more racers.
next week the track will be bigger again. going to trow some junk out.
In the summer we drive outdoor. Outdoor I run mod.

put an extra cap on your speedo or a bigger one.
I use a 4700 v16

The timing advance setting only applies if your sensor lead falls out, so don't worry about it.

See http://www.carsrcracing.co.uk/?p=244 for explanations of the settings.

You don't need the Pro if you are running stock. Only for mod touring is the Pro necessary. The normal RS is smaller and lighter.

You don't need anything else except possibly a HotWire so you can make setup changes via your laptop, and your own battery connector of choice to solder on. It comes with wire/leads and a capacitor.

Start with Hara's setup from Tekin's web site.

Randy, why does Tekin not sponsor a driver like hara for mod?
why don't you sponsor a top 10 driver from Europe or Japan.
noting about the us drivers but in the us Tekin is already having good drivers.
would be nice to see hara race with the speedo in the mod class.
