I don't see any 1/12 1S setups on the Tekin site. Where else might I look?

got it, thanks!
I heard that with 3,7V the Tekin RS can do 4,5T in stead of 5,5T because it applies to 7,4V
Is this true, can i drive a 4,5T brushless with 1s lipo

If you are talking about 12th scale i would think that weight would impact load on the motor and how hard the speedie works.
And thus motors which could be used?
Although i remember 5 cell (NiMH) mod used to really heat up the batteries and esc. But i think we were also pushing the esc/motors harder.

Trevor is correct. Less voltage means more current. For 1s mod racing you should be uisng the RS Pro. I've seen others use the RS for it and you "can" but it may thermal so testing would need to be done.
1s 1/12 mod is none issue with rs... We never even see three lights on the speedo.... 6.5 - 5.5 is a much better drive then a 4.5.... Laptimes are the same more of a element of gearing to get the speed then the wind in mod. If you go back to the days we were running 4 cell and 10.5 was SS. The 10.5 qual by ray at the 08 nats would of tq'd open mod.... He backed that up also.
Not much has chainged in the motor relationship the 10.5 can get it done just a lot softer drive and you have to drive more like a stock car then a
Open mod....

I just got my first rs, I generally run speed passion. I really think the Tekin is smoother and has better throttle response. But I did have a little problem. When I was celebrating I had to set my trim and subtrim all the way to the high side on my m8 to get neutral to be recognized. Even with the trims all the way up I still had to pull the trigger just a little bit to get the speedo to recognize neutral. Since I had to pull the trigger it gave the throttle a large dead band feel. Any help here will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Clint is right, 0 our your subtrims and trim. If it can't find nuetral there, reverse the throttle channel.
If you can't get a nuetral setting to calibrate make sure your NW setting is at default at least until you get a radio calibration.

This had to be done with my older crystal TX/RX setup, and my newer Airtronics 2.4 TX/RX (for M8/M11) as well. I thought the newer TX/RX might solve the issue, but it didnt.
Did you ever happen to cut, or change out your throttle trigger spring?

The first thing I did before I even attempted a calibration I did the factory reset. I bought the speedo used so I wanted to make sure everything was "normal". When I first tried to calibrate the speedo all my trims were at 0 and my epa was at 100 on high and low. I followed the manual exactly. The only thing I didn't try was reversing the throttle channel. I'll give it a try in a little bit and let you guys know how it works. Thanks again.

My throttle is Normal direction. Let me know if the change makes a difference for you...
