Tekin RS ESC sensored

Hi guys... looking for a little feedback
Was running My RS with a 8.5T SP 3.0 motor on a fairly tight track but with a long high-speed section (can't really call it a straight as it actually has 3 corners in it but they are really only brief off the throttle corners)
My setup started as (based on Steve Curtis's 7.5 profile) -
Radio - Futaba 3VC (basically a stick version of a 3PK)
FDR: 7.1
Drag Brake 25
Brake Strength 100
Neutral Width: 15
Throttle Profile: 3
Push: Off
Timing: 30
Boost: 10
Delay: 2.0
Ramp: 2
End RPM: 18k
Start RPM: 5k
I found this setup REALLY punchy but also very touchy as far as throttle even after playing with Throttle EXP etc... what it lacked was top end/straight line speed so I changed the following -
Timing: 40
Boost: 10
Delay: 1.5
Ramp: 2
End RPM: 20k
Start RPM: 5k
This felt better but still very punchy and still lacking what I expected as top end... I was doing no better than the local 10.5 runners and while a 8.5 isn't a big jump I was expecting better than I was getting... the motor was also barely getting above 45C and the ESC was showing only 1 light for temp... Next changes -
Neutral width - 25
FDR - 6.4
Again felt like more top end and STILL punchy... unfortunately the car developed other issues and I couldn't get any more runs in..
Any advice or feedback on the changes I was making/setup generally?

Supposed to be 0 timing. I didnt try any of the positive motor settings, and i didnt like the timing set at either -5 or -10 on the motor. It felt too punchy, and harder to modulate. Maybe with throttle profile 2, but i am used to linear steering and throttle and use very little expo if any at all. Ill try it out soon though.

for both, hit the calculate rpm and go to the next lower number under the 5k and this will help smooth it out if it is still punchy go up 1k on the endrpm

I'd just put it on dual-mode and unleash the power

Does the boost/turbo works on sensorless?

mod motors are usually in dual mode, there is only timing advance used with 30*

Dual mode is sensored to stat off, and sensorless when it's rolling. It doesn't use any dynamic timing, but does still have esc timing if you want.
Dual Mode is almost always faster for lower turn motors, not to mention it's a hell of a lot easier to set up without all the other guff to worry about.
