thanks in advance

thanks heres my setup on the RS:
DB:13
TP:2
BR:75
Turbo:8
Boost:48
5200:18000
Ramp:3
Delay:0
Try this.
Boost 50
Turbo 5
Turbo delay 0,3
Turbo ramp 2
Start RPM 2500
End RPM 7000
Gearing 5.0FDR

It's better not to use the Turbo ramp of 3, This causes more motor head and a specially by a low Turbo delay.
Gear 5.0FDR to start with.
After changing your setups on the speedo, check it by pressing current settings if your RPM settings are still ok.
Set drag brake as you like it but set it lower like 15 or 17.
Brake strength 80 to 85% is enough.

this is my second weekend with the Tekin(came from a Havock) i typically would run 7.9-8.1 lap times and as you can see with no other changes my laptimes dropped .2-.4 tenths per lap.

This setup gives you an other feeling with the car.
Instead of that the Turbo will be ad for extra top speed it is used to get an other feeling of driving. It isn't faster than a setup with the Turbo for extra top speed.

The advantage is, is that as you don't give full throttle you have a lower acceleration speed so for very technical parts of the track you can drive very smooth and when you need the power it's there.

Set the start RPM higher. This to prevent that you have o much timing ad the start.
Than you lose torque and your motor gets hotter.
Set it ad least ad 5000.
On larger tracks is a start RPM of 7000 to 9000 better.

We have 2 Nemesis drivers now ad the club.
I use the Tekin motor and the Speedpassion V3.
The Speedpassion and the Nemesis aren't that smooth as the Tekin motor.
I prefer the Tekin motor above the SP3.0.
Also do I have lower motor temps than the Nemesis and the speed is the same. i have also a better acceleration speed. Top speed the same.

Here's one for team tekin.

I have managed to tune the RSPro so I have great speed, great infield punch, but my car takes off rather leisurely at the start. Suggestions?

The setup:

boost start/end 6k/12k

turbo 12, delay .5, ramp 1

FDR 5.95

motor SP V3 no timing on motor.

Keep in mind if you want to recommend something that I prefer boost first, turbo after.

I would go with ligther gearing, but am afraid to lose my top speed edge. At the moment, I am on pace speedwise in the tight section, and on the stretch my car is the fastest in the field (by a small margin, but there is no doubt about it).

one thing i have seen during my runs is that with a higher start some motor timing works good, play with motor timing

i gear and setup for infield. I find that I may loose 2-3 ft on the straight, but if my setup is spot on, I will easily make that up in the infield sections. i really don't even care if my car is fastest on the straight. it is all about infield speed.

How long is this straight? You are probably down the entire straight in less than a second, so gear down.

I've never seen any of the fast guys out there worrying about maintaining their top-end speed down the staight, as pretty much everyone can drive a straight line well. If you are losing time, focus on the setup for higher corner speed and better punch out of the corners.

In the end - I think you are taking the wrong approach by worrying about being the fastest car down the straight. The race is lost and won in the corners.

Yep - I think I pretty much repeated what Yang said.

Set the motor on max timing
than find the place for the Boost to kick in.

This is what the Speedpassion 13,5T V3.0 drivers run on my track with a Tekin RS speedo.
Boost max
Turbo 5
Turbo delay 0,3
Turbo ramp 2
Start RPM 3600
End RPM 7000
FDR 5,6 to 5,8
Max motor timing.

As you set the Turbo on 10 set the delay a bit higher to about 0,5sec delay.
