I started at 8,2FDR, than 9,17FDR and also tested 10,4FDR.
Even with the 10,4FDR the car hath an incredible top speed.
I now need some power at the start.

Here is my current setup.
Boost 37
Turbo max
Throttle 5
Brake 85%
Turbo delay 0,2
Turbo ramping 3
RPM 7500 - 4990.
9,2FDR

Now do I want some extra power in the infield but I don't now what to do.
My motor temp stays under the 180F
Must I higher my top RPM and lower RPM?
Will this give me more power in the infield?
The top speed is incredible. The car flies but I want some more infield speed and I don't now how to get it.
As i lower my Boost I must gear a lot heavier. I loose a lot of top speed.

I changed my car setup and that also improved a lot but accelerating is still a bit to slow.
The brakes are improved a lot.
It brakes great.
I want to race on a bigger track to see what it can do.
The top speed is fantastic.

Tomorrow the race. wanted to film a bit but was to impressed with the V203.
My club member improved with the same setup today with 0,4sec a lap.
His first word after hitting the straight was WOOOOOWWW!!!!!
I must confess I haven't used the software yet, but I would start by dropping the low end RPM first.

What size track was this at?

While we're here, how about someone's estimates for a 10.5 setup (Hacker, Tekin and LRP X12 motors) on the following track;

Hey Skid, try randy's 13.5 with a little lower timing boost,it should be a good starting point.play with the start and end rpm you will see the difference

my v200 setup was:
12 boost
max turbo
0.7 delay
with temperature around 60^C

my v203 setup is
40 boost (4000-12000rpm ramp)
max turbo
0.5 delay
with temperature around 55^C

overall the car is faster...pulls harder and tops out higher...
the track is biggish.. 55Metres straight...

fdr is 5.29 on rubber asphalt.

would you change anything?

I'm using a redline 10.5T. I have not changed the motor timing out of the box.. so it must be 12.

With the current setup the temperature is only 55... so i guess it can handle a bit more abuse... Would it help to keep everything the same.. but increase the boost to 45 or 50?

But when I run it I just get what seems to be the older version

I'm running xp, is there a hidden file that I need to remove
like with vista?
I ran the setup.bat file instead of the setup.exe file. That removes the old stuff and puts in the new version.

Has anyone found that dragbrake causes much extra heat in the motor when using the RS Pro.
I stopped using it on my old SPX as it seemed to cause lots of problems with motors.

I might try it tomorrow at the track but would like to know if I'm going to be adding more heat if I use it.

Thanks

Well, after 2 days of testing, I settled on:

35 Drag Brake
75 Brake Strength
Throttle Profile 3
50 Boost
10 Turbo
0.1 Delay
3 Ramp
Start: ~5000
End: ~18000
5.88 FDR

Broke our track record again by about 3 tenths, and the car was super consistent.
