A few of us will be trying out 12th scale 1S 10.5 setups on Saturday. I'll try to get the results together and post them. If there's any 1S 13.5 setups around they'd give us a great starting point though.
Happy new year to you all! Been 2010 for over half an hour now in the UK

Looks like some setups will be posted soon and I hope to try what they have come up with.

Called tuning for the track.
Other drivers were also using it and came to the same conclusion and raised the min/max.
Even the Mamba guys at the track have theirs set in the 10-12k range.

First off thank you Tekin for this update for free.
I had a chance to run this new 203. There are some differences with this one compered to the Vegas 200. 25 of boost in the 203 is not the same as 25 in 200. As the car was much slower. WHen I went up to 50 boost I blew my 2 rear tires apart!!! I made the change to 50 boost and turned the car on. I hit the throttle once with the car on my pit stand. I was really surprised of the sound. I did it again and I heard a POP!! My rear tires blew apart. They were worn Jaco blues but still.
The new boost start and end point is very interesting. When you hit the start rpm the car jumps forward. It is really impressive. I tried both 13.5 and 17.5. In 13.5 the car was way to fast for our small 65x36 track. The 17.5 felt like a slower 13.5. I was able to run a 9.3 which is .1 faster than a fast lap before. I am also running a new T3 that I am still working on setup. SO I feel I will drop another .2 tenths.
This new software is no joke. It is almost unfair to those that do not have one of these new Tekin's for 17.5. It makes the motor a whole different beast.

Dit you try it on the track?
I want one for the nationals but as it can not handle the rpm's that the Tekin will give it now, i will take a speedpassion V3.0
I wanted Tekin but it's not allowed.
Ad my club it will be Tekin 13,5T

mine still shows 18k-8kish after, just hooked it up.
It took 1-2 times applying the settings for my first time to get it to stick though. Also after setting it up, I would suggest always closing and re opening the program. The download I had would lock out the advanced button and had issues displaying the rpm correctly.

Here are some general things to understand:
In TC most of our team is happy with 4000 rpm to start/ 12,5000 to end. Yes I know you can't get exact numbers like this but remember "genral."
In pan car most are liking 1500 rpm start/ 7000 to end.
Start your Timing boost around 40 to start out, find you gearing since you will likely be dropping 4-8 pinions depending on chassis/car.
Turbo has a new feature called "ramp rate." What this does is increase the rate the turbo timing is applied. So at 1.0 this was the setting Vegas 1.0 had. At 2.0 it's twice as fast, 3.0 is 1.5 faster than 1.5,etc etc.
My reccomendation is still to get your timing boost and gearing figured out BEFORE going for turbo. Turbo is always affected by layout, gearing, etc and since this software is that much faster than before you will likely need to re think your last setup.
If you're unsure where to start take your favorite Vegas 1.0 setup(v200) and start there with Vegas 2.0 .
