Can someone offer a good setup recommendation for the new software with "turbo boost"? It's in a b4, and will be running on a medium to high grip, medium sized track.

Thanks.

Overshooting the calibrated spot by 10 gives turbo the entire race. I think this would be a good idea (like you are suggesting) even if you DON'T have this issue, just in case you just BARELY wiggle your finger or something, making you lose turbo when you didnt want to. Maybe 120-150 is a little extreme... but I think its a good idea.

I am glad you guys are experiencing this too. I have noticed that turbo is temperamental seems to be gone after first few laps. I also have a 3pks and have been calibrating at 120 for throttle and brake.

Calibrate at 120, then increase to 130-135. That should do the trick.

I think as long as you go over by 10% of what you did your setup at will be fine.

Just a quick note to let you all know that the hotwire software works perfect with windows 7 straight out of the zip file. I didnt have to make any modifications at all.

Guys-

I am having trouble with "radio calibration". The speedo will recognize neutral and full throttle, it just won't recognize the brake end point.

I have tried opening up the neutral dead band in the program, radio epa's and even reversed the throttle servo in the radio. Noting works, it won't recognize the throttle end point.

Transmitter is Futaba 3PM 2.4ghz

Suggestions?

Randy would like it if we both crossed the line at the same time and for the first time in rc history have the exact same times

Thanks to rocketron for all the info. Time to go have some some the next time out and put any radio issue's to rest.

I take it that the RS just coggs very slightly on first trigger input at low speeds, compared to my other brand esc's.
Try a different motor.

i tried dual mode some time ago. It never cogged with me but one advice is to go sensord. It is way faster then dual mode in onroad applications.

The RS is one of if not THE smoothest esc I've ever used and have never faced any cogging issues. Neither did most others in this forum. You may have a bad apple. Get that sorted with Randy.
