Push control is mainly there for brushed motors which have a lot of natural drag in them which can cause too much drag brake. Brushless motors have very little drag in them to start with so using push control on a BL is going to have very little effect.

Push control is the EXACT opposite of drag brake. This is mostly used for brushed applications but we do allow it in brushless. This will actually power the motor partially for a brief amount of time based off of how long full throttle was held. I could see this being usefull on high speed flowing tracks.
If you have drag brake and push control both set, you're working against yourself.
The FDR's I used were for Speedworld Raceway where the Reedy Race of Champions is held. The inside corner to inside corner of the straight is 165'. This track has some technical sections so gearing/timing setups are key. All who ran Tekin ran 199/200 and all improved there positions by doing so.

I do not understand why my engine to go better with "PUSH CONTROL" high.
When to use new SW "199 200"?

final got to test my new tekin toaday at my local club here down under air temp was 22c
i was running 17.5 lrp with my rs,with 48p 33p 65s and the inprovement in power was awsome compaired to my tc spec. which was struggling to keep up with my mate on sundays race whom is running a tekin rs and redline 17.5 with a 35p 66s
The back streight is about 35-40m and so is the front for that matter with a technical fieild
My motor was only running at 45c so ithought i would go up a tooth on the spur
but when i went up to 34p 65s i didnt have the same straight line speed do i ghange the timing boost from 20 -25 or how can i get the edge over my mate at least ( Hello =Flip=)
Hope that i have given you guys enough info
Thanks wayne

As the LRP has a timing on the motor of 12 set the boost to 18.
Than find a good infield speed and the straight will be ok.
The Redline motor is faster than the LRP motor.
I have a 10,5 LRP and a Redline 10,5.
The Tekin is on the straight the fastest.
Infield I hath the same speed.
You must gear your LRP motor a bit heavier than the Tekin motor.
I gear my Tekin around the 6,87FDR
The LRP motor 6,0 to 6,3FDR on the same track.

It will allow the motor to get up to rpm sooner down the back straight.
Did the car feel like it reached top speed by halfway to three quater down the straight ?
#4991
top speed around 3.4 down the straight
when you say down a tooth is the the spur
thanks

What rotor is in the LRP?
There is currently no trade in program on the R1.

Thanks for the help with my F1 at the Speedworld Cup Randy!
My next speed step faster, with motor temps ~142, should be add boost or still smaller pinion?
when you guys see Randy at a race man he helps everyone, really makes you like Tekin
