Hey guys,

I just bought an RS and my first race with it is tomorrow. I will be running a trinity duo. I need a setup. It is a fairly large track, with some tight corners, medium grip and with a STD TC spec I was running about 3.21 FDR and coming off at 43*c average, so can go lower

This is great document. I wish every RC company would produce real documentation like this.

I hope Tekin works with on getting rights to post this on there website and include it with the hotwire install.

I drove today on this track
http://www.macdebaanbrekers.nl/
Settings I used
Turbo Max
Boost 15
Timing on my redline 10,5T 13.
6,306FDR

I was faster than the LRP and GM drivers.
The GM motor was even slower than the LRP motor.
The Tekin motor was the fastest in the infield.
Just great.

The Tekin is the fastest speedo there is.
And it's going to be faster and faster.

Great work Tekin.

ok guys, I need to pick your brains again.

I have a novak 13.5 orange ring with about 1/8 inch of timing and boost set to 20. I gear at 4.53 for a medium sized track. All my buddies look at me like I'm Crazy. The motor temp peaked at 145 deg. and the speed control never got higher than 2 LEDs. Does this sound whacked out or am I ok?

Thanks--Albert

Yes, the hotwire and also the soon to be released 200 software will be a big help. For the time being if you want help post your info. Brand of motor, physical timing on motor, what software you think is on your RS speedo, your gearing, track diminsions, outside or inside temps you race in, gearing, rubber or foam, brand of car, roll out, etc.

You can see that there is so many variables involved, the more info you give the more Randy or others will be able to help.

I forgot to add that I am also experiencing a slight hesitation when hitting the throttle from a dead stop.

Drag break at 15
dead band at 10
boost at 20
running in sensored mode
3.25 hot wire and198 firmware

Nobody should have 199 software not on the team. Currently the team is not allowed to share it because of a known bug.

200 should be just around the corner and It CAN be shared. See your local team driver.

If you're "out of the boxing" your RS/10.5 setup you really need to get ahold of a Hotwire. That means you're running dual mode and very low timing with 180 software...

I'm having touble with calibrating my RS to my radio, 3PK w/FASST system, 4 cell, LRP 13.5.

When turn on the RS after turning on the transmitter, the lights are very, very, very dim no chime. Press the mode button for 3 seconds, nothing, no lights, no chimes. Steering servo works fine.

What's going on?
