Start: 5,400rpm
End: 20,000rpm
Delay: .14
Ramp: 2.0

I started with an FDR of around 6.2.

Overall, it feels like not enough bottom end, but seems to be accelerating hard still towards the end of the straight. Looks like a setup for a bigger track. Temps after 5mins are in the 60degC range.

I'm hoping someone has some suggestions for boosting the bottom end. I don't really think I want to gear much shorter than that, so thinking of lowering the rpm range (start & end) but dropping the boost a little to keep temps in check. Has anyone found a good combination for this?

Hi PDR, try this
Boost 46
Turbo 15
Start 2950
End 13996
Delay 1.2
Ramp 2
Min throttle 20

And you might want to try dropping a tooth or two and give the motor plus one mark of timing.

Does anyone have a setup for 1 cell 17.5 oval open? Running on a 180ft runline flat carpet.

Thanks

Tried this today and it was an improvement, although the 1.2 turbo delay was way too long. I progressively worked it down to 0.2 and added a little more endbell timing on the motor. Dropped the FDR to just around the 7.0 mark and it wasn't too bad, but still fractionally off the pace. Most of that was down to my driving and not getting my braking points consistent enough, but it's definitely better than where it was.

Cheers,
Phil.

Randy
Is there any update on the Hotwire programming for Mac OS? I'm still keeping my hopes up. Hotwire is the only thing I have left on my Windows based laptop.

Has anyone had a problem with the new Trinity D3.5?

I'm having a sensor issues it seems. Every once in a while during a 5min run, coming out of a corner my Touring Car will stutter like when the ESC does not detect the sensor signal and can't start. This happens randomly.

I have this issues with 2 brand new 17.5's. My Thunder Power and Novak work fine.

I had the exact same problem with my RS and a Revtech 17.5.

Turns out the sensor board on my Revtech was bad. Replaced it and it was perfectly fine.

Tekin RS (not Pro) faulty?

It'll take settings for 212 & 223, either 'Blinky' or timed/boosted via the hotwire but the esc won't let the motor get rev out. Runs about 2/3rd's the pace of when running 13.5 blinky.

Changed power cap, sensor lead, batteries to no avail

It won't work in 2s but with a booster wired in it'll do 1s

Any ideas?

Default Blinky and throttle profile

I have just switch to 17.5 blinky and was wondering what throttle profile curve people use. Do most select THP5 and forget it?
Do you notice any difference in blinky?
