Yeah its 8.2.2
I'm not sure why the interface works like it does but I think I'll live with it. i can get the settings to change and the speedo responds to the changes.
The brakes do work but they are not very strong at the end of the straight..I cant hold it wide open and jam on the brakes at the last second like I used to. In the infield they are plenty strong when I need them.
The speedo is very much better in every other way
The last thing i am going to try is download with a ethernet cable connected to my laptop not over wifi

We have had requests for additional brake power in boosted spec TC classes, and we are going to give it to you. We are adding a new active brake setting that will feel more like V212 in super boosted setups at high rpms. So for those of you that feel that the 222 brakes are a bit weak at the end of the straight away this will give you the additional brake power you're looking for. In classes like 2wd offroad 212 brakes had room for improvement in feel and modulation. Now that spec racing is becoming more popular the team felt that the added driveability of the 222 brakes made for faster laptimes, something we're always looking to improve.

Does that mean that the fix has to be submitted to ROAR for approval? Wondering about the time frame.

I also have kept all the ZIP formats in a separate folder, just in case i needed to reinstall the program and was somewhere with no wifi.

What does the active brake do? Does it adjust throttle lift engine braking? Not off throttle but partial throttle braking?
I saw it appear in my v222 install then disappear.
