IMO it's the Duo1.

I have a question for the masses.

I am looking for a WGT 10.5 setup for a 36x100 non technical carpet track. Nice and high speed track. I have a decent 13.5 setup that has really long legs, but some folks wanna run 10.5 cause they "gotta go fast". I am also asking about gearing. I have a Novak SS 10.5 but would like to use my Duo2 and need settings for that one.

I was looking through the forums for Donny's snowbirds setup, but could not find anything. Lots of pages to sift through.

Thanks,

Tim

Hey Tim,

Try a 96/37 with a 2.10" rear tire that should put you in the ball park with Don's 1/12th setup for WGT

Hope this helps
Mike

maybe we dont have enough computer programmers playing with RC cars, but has anyone thought of making an ESC settings wizard. type in your car type, FDR, tire size motor kv, battery , track size and style and race length and it would give you some starting ESC settings. just an idea. something worth doing if its decided to make the timing boost feature even more complicated.

Default 21.5 Settings

I am running a Redline 21.5 and an RS in a 416, i am looking for guidance in setting up controller settings. Any suggestions regarding set up parity compared to 17.5 as 21.5 is a new class we are running, but we have a few people who are successfully running 17.5 redlines with RS controllers.
We are running on ashphalt outdoors with medium grip.

hi guys,

Im just after a good setup for 17.5 trinity nemisis in a TC running sorex rubbers 1425grams. On a Medium/Technical outdoor ashpalt track

As i smoked my redline 17.5 last race meet (my own fault , with wrong settings/too much timing), First motor i have ever blown in 4.5 years of racing tho. So im not crying too much .

You should check the spec of your motor. My orion vortex pro stock 11.5t has 25160rpm on 7.4v. On Kv its 3400. You should play with your fdr since your rpm is unusual and check the temps regularly on esc and also motor temp. Give me a feedback once you try.
I had try 7.5 and 8 fdr last weekend, the motor was hit more than 65k rpm. I doubt that a 11.5t should have this rpm. With the setting the motor was fast and sound loud, but alot of motor drag while entering corner. Now i understand why you need so much push control.
