A friend did the hotwiring today, no matter what he did to the thing it was poor on the straights was reaching top speed about 1/4th of the way down the straight, out of corners was fine. RPM was 15000, start 1000. I was about 7.7 fdr to start with and ended up at 5.85. The boost ended up at max.
Yet last week the thing was too quick down the straight, i couldnt control it. It got the point where i couldnt find pinnions small enough. Now its the opposite, Im so confused. Could someone who knows about these things please help me out please. :P
what size is the track

Are you in sensord mode?
Do I need to get the computer connection to see this? I tried to do the setup per the sheet-- linear throttle #3--brushless mode--6 volt 2 cell lipo cuttoff-- I didn't know there's a "sensored" mode??? Missed that?? Can I do that from the ESC buttons?
Thanks

Does Tekin still offer a sale on its products to military personnel? How does that process work?

You need Hotwire to update to v203.
The base settings are going to be slow, even in sensor mode with full endbell timing.

Get a Hotwire or find some one that has a Hotwire so he can update it for you.
Without a Hotwire you can't change the settings from the timing and you can't update the speedo.

Exactly the same just the rs pro runs cooler when running lower mod motors (Ie the rs can only handle 5.5 and higher where the pro there is no limit on the motor.)

join the club With my lrp sphere i run 2 8 min heats and was ok. With the tekin probably ran for 10 mins all up before the receiver pack died. I think ill just pull the red wire out of the connector and see if there is any difference

Used the tekin for the first time today... it was nuts, so much power i couldn't beleive how quick it was lol. Only problem i had was that the boost was cutting out about 2mins into a race, i spoke to another racer and he said to reduce the end point on my radio then recalibrate the remote to the speedy then increase the end point. It solved my problem which was great, something about the signal fluctuates between the remote and speed controller but only with KO Radios (im running a EX10), i think if i remember correctly their was talk about this not long ago on here? Other than that i got one good race in but motor come off a little hot (85 degrees C) , just need to fine tune the speedy now to get the temps down.

Good job Tekin!

What i would do is find out how much timing the motor has.
try a start rpm 2xxx
end 13000
timing boost 40 until you know what the motor
fdr 6.5
no turbo
