Yeah it's right on the hotwire page, right side menu bar.

I am wondering if the braking issue isn't somehow related to the amount of timing being run in the ESC
Using it in my TC for the first time at the weekend, if gliding towards a corner (making my way to the start etc) the brakes almost lock the wheels, but when moving at speed there seemed to almost be a 'step' in the braking, like there was slight drag brake then a lot of brakes once I had already lost a lot of speed.

I have tested it and the lower boost with that motor makes the brakes stronger.
By my Tekin and LRP motor the brakes are fine, doesn't matter the amount of Boost I use.

hi guys,
question about the hotwire....
i have installed v200 software, but when i look at what versions i have it says the speedy has 199 on it, and the hotwire says it only has up to 194 available?
however, the turbo delay can go down to 0.2, so it must be the v200. the copy i have was given to me by a friend and he has installed it with no problems. i have tried reinstalling about 5 times now....
any ideas why?
thanks
BEN
sounds like you have a cross version of the 199 Vegas edition

For the Tekin team
Here's a good question for the Teakin Team.
I am running the RSPro in 21.5 and tonight at the club one of the marshalls (a very experienced racer here) told me that my car had better initial punch out of the corner than another racer and better final speed than him, but was a bit slower coming out of corners. This other guy is running the same combo (RSPro/21.5 redline) as mine. I would be interested to hear your comments on this.
My setup is quite basic, sensored mode, no drag brake, full brake power, no timing on the motor, throttle 3, boost 15, max turbo, 1s delay. I don't know anything about the other guy's setup.
My main confusion is why would my car accelerate faster at the beginning only to lag after that and then again reach higher speeds (sure, the gearing might have something to do with it). This doesn't seem right to me, but perhaps there is something to learn here. Common sense would suggest that if my gearing is too heavy then my initial acceleration (punch) should be slower. I have to say I personally haven't noticed the difference in acceleration out of the corners, on the contrary, I noticed I was always pulling away from him in the really twisty bit of the track.
On a side note, I have managed to convince a fellow racer to buy the combo and more and more people come around and ask about my speedy/motor at the track. Which got me thinking. Can I have a free system if I convince 10 people to buy one? You know, kinda like they do with the mobile phone plans? Can I? Pleeeeeze?

Everyone always seems to want lower and lower turbo delay, but all of my best results have come at .7-.8 sec. mark.

Well if you're delay is at 1.0 seconds it's not too early. If you "feel" that you're pulling him the whole time in the S section than I'd say leave it. You're setup is quite mild to be honest however with the proper gearing I'm sure it's working just fine. You could try to simply add 5 degrees of timing boost without changing your gearing and see if you like the change...
