I'm truly in shock in how advanced brushless motor esc's have become these days.

Just when you think they make a motor fast, bam, out comes something new or a better software update to make it even faster.

We have boost and turbo features already, if there is another go faster feature that needs adding into the hotwire then we are going to be running out of go faster names for it!

Call it Warp speed? Or land speed record?

certainly adaptive timing is next. combined with an adjustable throttle curve and maybe variable frequency drive too.. oh and a third channel for the rocket booster in the trunk..

Randy, is there any difference in performance between brushless fwd/brake and fwd/brake/revese?

There will be no performance difference between fwd/brake and fwd reverse since we're simply changing the order that we fire the phases...

Randy will there be a way to save profiles for various tracks that we might goto?

Like radios have a 10-20 model memory where you can name the profile.
Something like that could be really nice, especially if you can add limited notes to it.

No not a rocket booster, how about a Flux Capacitor that way you can finish the race before you start

hello, just curious about the new 200-software.
Actually I have 189 installed I think in my 4WD-offroad (1/10) car.

One of our top-drivers and rather well experienced with the Tekin-esc's told me this version still was the best for the job it has to do/perform in our Offroad-4WD-vehicles. No need to switch it for the 200-update.

Can someone tell me what the main reasons would be for switching to the 200-update?
I'm just wondering if I should switch and also how I could get a hand on this version ... but I just read here and found out I had to email to [email protected] for it, isn't it?

thx for all info/advice

Hi, I'm after a starting setup and FDR suggestions for my new RS esc V200.
I'll be running rubber TC LRP 10.5 on carpet 100x50ft
Moving from a LRP TC Sphere normally around 5.5 fdr.
Thanks in advance

Default Using TURBO func with low turn motors

Hi. I see we are recommended to run dual mode with low turn motors and use the sensored only mode with the higher turn motors to optimise their top end speed.

I would like to know if it is ok to use sensored only mode with a 5 turn motor to make use of the turbo boost function (or is there very little gain from this?). If so what is a good setting value to start from?

Thanks guys.
