The ESC doesn't even respond to the Hotwire software at all the old version or the new version. When powered on the lights are very dim and the steering works but no throttle. I have spent several hours working on this already and just can't figure it out. If anyone can help me please do.

From one of Randy's earlier posts: "Dim lights can be software not installed properly and or install issues.
First do a factory reset, if that doens't cure it. Re install older software, then upgrade it once it's working properly."
I'm a little fuzzy on the factory reset, It says to press and hold the inc button, and then press and hold the mode button simultaneously for three seconds. after 3 seconds the leds will ramp up in sets of three.

Guys,
If you get dim lights on an RS:
Make sure no buttons are stuck, try to flash the speedo back to older software, then back up to current. Make sure it's plugged in all the way into the hotwire.
A factory reset can help bring the speedo back to life if it doesn't respond, this is all in your instructions.
Set your epa's as you normally would. On my Dx3r I run 150 and 150. On my M8 I ran 140 and 140 to keep 'em even.
On the subject of push control: This is the opposite of drag brake. I've not yet seen a case where anyone needed this in 1/10 racing. We turned this feature on in brushless mode mostly for 1/8 offroad/onroad racing. In most cases turn it off.
The "beta" in the file name is do to this not being uploaded on the website. This will still be a ways off before that happens. We like to get one on one with customers that get this software so we can go over it's use and proper setup.
