I would use 0 Push, 20 Timing and disable turbo until you have suitable gearing for your infield thatdoen't get the motot too hot, then enable the turbo for the straight.

Skiddins, The file is named with BETA in it. Does that mean this still isn't quite the final version of this firmware?

If I remember correctly the previous releases(189, 194, 198) also had BETA in the file name. Not sure why because those were the public release versions.

Maybe the version before they put it up on their main website perhaps? Didn't get to test v2.00 out as our club meet was rained out

I followed the video Randy posted about removing the hidden file. But, I did not have a hidden file. I didn't even have a HotWire folder in the VirtualStore. Is this going to be an issue when installing the new version?

Thanks

Did you have an old version installed? Is show hidden files set to yes? If the answer to either of those is No then that is why you aren't seeing them.

in regards to the timing, you could try 10deg manual timing on motor 10deg timing boost on esc.

Did you reset the speedo after updating?
Set all your TH settings to 100% don't touch the TH EXP. Leave it to 0.

I use 15 boost and 10 to 12 on the motor and turbo max.
But the straight is quit long.
If the straight is smaller, try 10 boost.
Last race I used 0 on the motor and 25 boost.
The run with 20 boost was the same lap times but the 25 boost gave me a bit more top speed.
The 20 boost a bit more infield speed.

I used on a small track 7 boost with max Turbo.
geared it heavier.
This was with a Tekin motor 10,5 with 12 on the motor
With the Speedpassion motor I use 18 boost and just 5 Turbo.
I'm geared heavier than the Tekin motor.
The Speedpassion motor runs better with a heavier gearing on that track.

+1 very unlikely, or the file name simply didnt get changed after it was used by the team. I doubt very much there's anything to worry about there.

I will let Randy answer that though when he's here next
