I run an older dx 3 and have weak brakes also- do you really think it could be the Tx??
I run the same Tx on my other tc with a losi speedo and have good brakes.
I have tried diff motors on the rs with same weak brakes-(17.5 and 13.5)May have to get someone to look at the settings with a hotwire-I really havn't had time as I am trying to get the rest of the car to handle right. And am not having much luck- my driving sucks-lol but it's still fun

My speedpassion doesn't brake so much but my redline an lrp brake great.
The genius 120 has also a problem with the Speedpassion motors. They burn them!! lol

yeah, just get an SPX.
Then next year you can get the SPY.
Then 3 months later too keep up with the new Tekin software, get the SPZ.
After you've wasted all that money, you'll think what you bought actually SUX.
Couldn't help myself

If the infield is flowing:
Motor timing 10
boost 20
28 pinion 75 spur

if the infield is tight drop down to 0 on the motor and 30 boost.

There's a track up in Boise. Google it I'm sure you can find it.

If you have brake issues make sure to have your Brake Strength turned all the way up. Also verify you're getting full brake by watching the led's FLASH when applying full brake.

Anytime you think you might be having radio issues set your epa's at 100, NW at 25 and recalibrate...

Wow, I was starting out at 78/24 with the settings you gave me. I forgot to mention that the racing surface is asphalt, and sometimes we don't put in the jumps. I'll give your gearing a try and see what happens. May have to drop a tooth on the pinion once I start racing due to high temps. Also, I'm running version 194 set in the sensored mode. Thanks for any help.

Ah, yeah if you are on such a high traction surface gear down from my suggestion. Gear so that you come off the track after 5-6 minutes at 140 to 160 degrees
