I'm ok with seeing them come off at around 170. Much more than that I'd be looking for changes.

Large tracks will tend to have a different setup than a full boost no motor timing setup.

I posted this question in the wee hours Sunday morning... it wound up on the very bottom of page 216, I suspect it might have gone un-noticed, so I'm going to ask again...

Randy...

I should have asked this a couple of pages ago, but I didn't really think about it until just now for some reason...

When you say boost is "stronger" on the lower portion of the scale between 1 and 10, what exactly does that mean? Don't the numbers on the boost scale represent 1 to 30 degrees of timing advance? If not, what do they represent? If the numbers DO represent degrees of timing advance, how do you make 10 degrees in 1.94 stronger than 10 degrees in 1.89?

Not asking for any trade secrets I hope... but it is kinda confusing...

Tekin is hot news out here right now.
After the race by MACH everybody wants one and is asking questions how it comes that it's so fast.
I got several e-mails, pm's on a dutch forum and messages on my msn because they now i drive Tekin.

77.1kmh. Thats as fast as a Speedpassion 9,5T.

All I can say for now is that 194 is stronger boost wise from 1-10 than 189 version, sorry.

So if you were set at 10 on the boost with 189 you may want to start out around 5 when you switch to 194.

Or do you have that many that it just takes over a week to get a response?
According to the Tekin website, that is incorrect.

Default Kudos!

Tekin rocks! I had some issues upgrading my RS to the 189 and somehow fried my RS. Sent it back for repair....and got a brand new RS at no charge! Hooked it up to my Hotwire and everything worked out great! Cant wait to try it out in 2 weeks
Thanks Randy, Ty, Mr./Mrs. Campbell

yes it's the biggest track in the Netherlands.
With a very long straight end.
You can drink some ting and eat some ting when you drive on the straight end.

From the drivers stand you go to the right and you go full throttle and to the other site of the track. Thats all full speed.
Top speed yesterday an spx speedo en Tekin 10,5T motor was 77.1 KmH.
Same speed as a 9,5T Speedpassion motor with a GM Genius 120 speedo.
