If you have set the most aggressive throttle profile in the tekin rs speedo, does increasing the throttle curve through the radio make the throttle profile even more aggressive.

The limit on the Tekin RS is a 5 turn brushless motor. Is this limit based on
a 2wd vehicle using a 2cell lipo.... I would like to know if i wanted to run a 4.5 in a 1cell lipo 1/12 vehicle will it push the speedo to hard or will it be okay since i am running a 1 cell lipo versus a 2cell lipo

reset dx3r bind reset speed controller now steering works but motor lrp 10.5 dead.speed controller flashes leds 1 2 5 6.wrong motor type selected.tried seting for all diff.brushless modes and still 1 2 5 6 flash still.set this with hotwire.apply settings.what could be wrong? thanks for reply

I've been running a 4.5 in 12th with no issues, TQ booster and all.
90x45 carpet, only see 1st temp light so far.

is that with any current limiter or timing advance and very precise throttle management?

could it be that someone with a heavy hand on a more open track and more agressive timing could pull more current and more heat?

I won't guess as to what other drivers results may be, just stating my experience thus far with RS and mod in 12th scale.

Turns out using current limit takes power away from the top end, so I don't use that, just expo on the radio.

Once I get the chassis sorted out to make the tires last all 8mins, the 4.5 will be very manageable.

Led's 12 67 can be a motor, the A B C wires, or the esc. IF you've swapped the motor with a known good one and replaced the A B C motor wires and still get this fault code the esc will require repair.

Hey Randy is there a problem with the RS Esc's? I have the same problem as Olegeezer. In fact there were two of us at my track yesterday that received the same error codes. We both swapped the esc with another using the same motor, leads, and sensor. Also we were both using tekin 17.5 motors, no boost or timing.
I've only had my esc for about 3 months.

Luv the speedo just wondering if there is a problem on the horizon.

Hoping someone can help out. My rs has 3 leds flashing on each end left/right. Manual says its on the wrong motor type but its not. Also it doesnt chime when turned on. Just stays flashing. Things i have tried

Another motor
sensor cable
new cap
reflash and reprogram


So far nothing. Any other suggestions before i send it?? Sucks got to run it once and this happen. Its not my first or only tekin but the first time i have a problem. Thanks
