What are you running this "rewound" HV4.5 motor in? I see that you're only running 2s lipo but under what load?

14 ga wire will be ok, but I agree that 12 ga is better. Don't limit yourself when you don't need to. Good quality wire like the Tekin wire that it comes with is very flexible and is what is recomended.

yea, yea, yea. it should be one of the best esc out there. low speed running sensored, high speed running senorless(because senors would be out of sync at high speed).

I just hope the price won't be too scary, look at the price tag of electroics today, I am already afriad to shop.

tekin is back, watch out novak tek (i do get a refurb GTB org for $99 from them, look brand new to me! just out of sync and overheat a lot with the their old motor, lol) thinking going back to bushed again,

I'll be trying for a 2S lipos speed record. I'm thinking of going with something like a 1.5T instead of the 4.5T and I'll have the magnet wrapped in either Kevlar or Carbon Fiber to help them stay together. If the 1.5T won't be possible, I might go with 2.5T. I'll be using 2S2P 5000mAh to deal with such load. I'll be using my trusty TC3 as t's been just solid.

I want one, but my wallet is already dead (Monster max + Battery ...), Maybe next month.

Just my 2 cents imho Tekin shouldn't have made a "non" PRO ESC, No body is willing to buy a limited turn ESC Today
Specialy when the difference of price is not that large.

Or Maybe rename it RS Stock and sell it with a 13.5 motor at low price

There you'd be wrong. I am getting the RS not the Pro. I don't need an unlimited motor selection as I will only be using this with a 13.5BL motor. So I would rather opt for the non-pro since it is shorter in height and will fit better under 1/12th scale bodies.

Im getting the non-Pro version. Dont ever race mod and if I did I probably shouldnt race something lower then a 5 turn anyway.

I was thinking the same way but for 20 dollars more im getting the Pro never know what im going to run later down the road 20 is better then selling rs for half or less then half. Then turning around and buying the pro 100 dollars more so 100 or 20

I agree

Just pay the $20 extra and get a system that will run everything you need to run, and if you need to sell it for some reason, the PRO will most likely be picked up first 'cause of its value.

Anyone know an on-line shop selling the Tekin 13.5 and mod motors?

just ordered an RS Pro :-)

any gearing recommendations for a 362 Redline running 5-cell mod sedan? Large, fluent track with small technical section. Do i need a heatsink/fan or additional capacitors?

I think the regular RS is going to be the way to go in 4 cell classes like 12th. It's over a quarter ounce lighter and we don't normally need a motor lower than a 5.5 in 12th anyways.
