I must wait till i can use my Tekin with the 189 update till my problem is solved.
I hope that it will be for Dec 28. Than i have a race in germany (Viol) http://www.viol-model-racing.de/

I go already 0,5 sec faster with Jack the gripper han i did with CS High grip asphalt.

As i gean 0,5 sec with the 189 update than i will drive for the first place

When i gain 0,5 sec in Mol than i'm the fastest on the track and i will win (if i make no mistakes)

The motor must be that you can't change the timing on it.
With the Tekin rs pro it doesn't matter. It will go fast
It made my brushed motor also faster.

I noticed on the RS, that if I roll slowly to full throttle, it sounds like it's reaching a higher RPM than if I jam the throttle to full immediately. Is that the "boost," and is that the intended behavior? I'm only using 188 at the moment, no team drivers in this area to grab 189 from.

Since the last one got blacked out I will be holding this the 28th instead. So everyone knows what to ask for Christmas now

SUNDAY DEC 28TH TEKIN RS/RS PRO TRAINING DAY

Sunday the 28th I'm going to hold Tekin setup and tuning training class from 11 to 3 in the Onroad pits. This event is for both Off and Onroad drivers using the new Tekin Rs or Rs pro. Todd will also have them in shop to buy that day for anyone looking to buy new brushless esc or system. There is no better day to buy one and have Team driver work with you first hand. I will update everyone's esc to the newest software  that day and help them dial it into their liking. I will be going kind of quick to make sure everyone gets help so please bring something to write on and with.
Check out our forum for more info as it comes

Bring hotwire and Laptop ( if you have either )
Bring Pinions
Temp gun

Contact Randy Pike at Tekin. He will help you out. Randy was very helpful to me.

Had a chance to run the new firmware and timing boost in my 1/12 scale this weekend. WOW!!! What torque! In the A main I qualified 4th at the tone the damn car leaped into 2nd place! The leader had a 3/4 lap lead on me, and I was able to rope him in and finally passed him for the win. During the last 2 mins of the main I kept having to back pedal to keep from rear ending the leader. I did get tangled up with him once entering the straight, but I was courteous and let him go when the marshal untangled our cars. Thanks for everything! Gonna play around with motor timing plus boost this weekend. I did notice the motor liked a smaller pinion than I normally ran. Exactly what is a safe temperature for brushless motors?

I SUGGEST no greater than 180, this is what we where running with brushed motors in all out racing, and all out brushless racing wouldnt be much different. but at this temp dont expect you motor to last long, 150-160 most is you want it last a season (possibly more). and 140 for bashing

Thanks for the info. The highest I ever got the motor was 166. I guess I'm pretty close.

This info isn't often seen. I always thought 150-160 is fine for bashing as well.

Ive seen around 200F in brushed motors but it aint good!

I read something like non-sintered motors you dont want to go any higher than about 150F while sintered motors you can go a lot higher (although i like to have my motor around 160F).

Adam,

There was an issue with that problem in 188. 189 is the next level and is what's out currently with public release to be soon.

If you need 189 you must email me with your location so I can hook you up with software and team drivers in your area.
