Your cars will feel less punchy now that the throttle is smoother, fact. Just because it feels less punchy doesn't mean it is, what you need to look at are your lap times, not the feel. Your car will be easier to drive and a car that is easier to drive is faster, but often feels slower.

You can make the car feel more punchy by changing rev ranges and/or throttle profiles, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of you actually go slower if you do that.

As I and others have said, always look at your lap times.

Hi guyz, i have big problem with my RS Just recieved Hotwire today, i´v been very looking forward to great performance increase against not updated RS, downloaded v. 208, updated, setuped, and.. nothing happend car is still so so slow and don´t break at all! i´v tried so many possible setups and nothing helped, still the same anybody know where can be mistake?
Car is Xray T2008, motor LRP X12 17.5T (-5 Timing), FDR 7.3, transmitter LRP C3 Pro..
I´ve noticed that when i manually spin the wheels at the car, nothing at the ESC blinks, is it normal? Thanks very very much for help..

Are you sure that the sensor harness is plugged in all the way on the motor and ESC.

Other things you may want to change in your setup are:

Neutral Width : 10
Motor Type : BL-FW
Start RPM : 5000ish

When you calibrate the ESC to your radio set your throttle EPA down by 10% and then when you have completed the calibration set the throttle EPA back up by 10%.

All the above is good.

Remember that you need to recalibrate the ESC to your transmitter every time you load a new version of the software onto the ESC. I think that may be the problem.

Martyn666:

Looks like the RS is running Dual mode instead of Sensored mode.
Your settings looks fine. But the part you mentioned no blinking lights (#5,#6,#7) when you turn your motor/wheel indicates the sensor is not working.

You may try the following:
1) try a different sensor wire
2) try a different sensored motor

good luck.

I had something like that. After updating to 208, I tried resetting the speedy to my radio. All the lights were blinking like normal, but would not accept the signal for full throttle. Never had this problem with any previous version. This was with a Spektrum DX3R.
