It does not run on the Mac OS, however if you have an Intel mac there are a number of ways to run it. 1) Install Windows XP, Vista or 7 using bootcamp and boot into Windows. 2) Purchase Parallels or VM Ware Fusion and do number 1 but run both OS's simultaneously 3) Purchase Parallels or VM Ware Fusion and install Windows as a virtual machine and again run both OS's simultaneously. Your choice, but I do believe Windows is needed. I have not tried the Windowsless emulators with the Hotwire.

To add to option #2, you can use Virtual Box: http://www.virtualbox.org/

It's free and is what I use... works great.

Randy. None of those team drivers typically run 17.5 setups. With so few posts, I have to think that Mr. Wright is probably new to the hobby.

Mr. Wright. What motor do you want a setup for? And what class will you be running? Assuming that you are talking about Tekin setups for the upcoming Asphalt Nats.

Otherwise, we are all waiting for the new 2.08 Tekin software which will require some testing before we have input on new Tekin ESC setups with the different motors.

Actually Derek and I have run a lot of 17.5 and we have some good set up's. We all run Mo's set up. I plan on being out there this weekend to help guys out if I can jiggle my work days since Norcal switched to the 19th. I'll be running 17.5 at the nats.

Where can I find Mo's setup? I don't see it on Tekin's site.

Has anybody found the Throttle Profile to have any effect on the motor temperature?

You shouldnt have (i've not noticed it myself), but that's not to say it might be possible. Maybe if your gearing was on the edge of being in a comfortable zone it might have an impact but that's only a guess.

That's something I might play around with this weekend but temp has never been an issue to me running 17.5 or 13.5(R.I.P.) The only temp test I really felt help was running the LRP heat sink/fan combo. My motors always ran 20 degrees cooler using it. The bad thing is that it adds a ton of weith to the cars motor side which is already heavy

The Tp setting could make it run hotter if you drive it hard. It's not much though.

The new software is around the corner. If you're looking to test the spec software for now run 183, it's pretty dang close to the spec software.

Is the new software just for spec racing ?? I hope not as I thought it was an upgade for the poor brakes as well. I race 10.5 and need all the timing boost plus I hope new brake software .
