except for holes defined in the relevant class rules or specifications. A sunshade band at
the top of the windshield is permitted.

BTW ..... altough you are allowed to race we all know what you call driving an RC car around that sheet of pavement you call a track ain't racing!!!! You'll just be another moving chicane for someone....lol

So, what is your answer?? I don't get it..... clearly defined windows can be done with a tint on the inside and a steady hand with a Sharpie on the outside mold line.....

so.....?

Where are we with this one?

I know previously you could tint the windows BUT you MUST be able to easily see through all windows.

EA.. yea.. but our rule doesn't say that you have to see through them.. it says clearly identifiable, I would assume as windows....

so, get a Sharpie and outline whats been tinted....

gees, will a tinted window give the driver that much an advantage..... I think these rules are getting out of hand... but, heck, thats just me and I'll bet I shouldn't say stuff like that....

Edit: So, I'm sent a P.M. that says windows should be clear or tinted. No matter no rule about it, thats the way it should be. Also, I recieved another P.M. that said his preference is clear but really doesn't matter.

Interesting topic.

The rule before was in there to be able to see through the windows. It makes it kinda hard to tech a car if the window's are black doesnt it?

At the Carpet Nats I always had to have the body removed for the techs anyway. This may have only been to check lipo voltage but whatever.

I got it!

Yes you can switch cars back and forth. Just make weight, measurements, and use legal batteries and motors.

I thought I should bring up Hotel reservations.

If any of you are planning to just find a place when you roll into town or you know someone who intends to do this; You should reconsider. There are multiple baseball tournaments the weekend of the event as well as a several cheerleader camps at ASU, therefore I believe that most all decent Hotels will sell out in the next few days.
