I wanted to get a list of set up tools I need for my chassis.

Currently I have the Integy alignment tool set and droop/Ride Height gauge along with a set of balance buttons. I am not sure if I need something else or if these would be sufficient.

I was thinking about getting the Hudy set up system. Will this come with everything I need or will I need to purchase equipment to go with this? People at my local track are not very knowledgeable in set up equipment but I think I can find some help in learning to use the equipment from another track that is alot further away. The problem is I can only get to the track once a month or so.

Basically I am asking for a check list of what I need to get serious about my TC set up. Recommendation of brands and specific tools are very welcome as well.

I am currently using a cabinet door I had left over from a remodeling project. It is as flat as can be so I think I will be good on that end. Thanks.

All you really need is a flat board, ride height gage, tweak station, and camber gage. The rest is all to make life easier. The huge set-up stations are nice to get toe set-up or to try to trouble-shoot bent parts. However, the rest can usually be done with the simple tools mentioned earlier. I have the Integy station, and have also used the Hudy in the past. After initial set-up, they collect dust.

If you really need a droop set-up, then I guess you should invest in that. Most of the set-up sheets now are listing droop over ride height, so all you'd need in that case is just the ride height gage.

Did a re-model on the kitchen a few years ago. Where do you thing the slab granite cut out for the sink went?
Talk about a flat surface, easy to keep clean too.

something not yet listed but is handy for everything including checking droop equal shock length etc is callipers, often underated they are really handy
