Default Pro3 Gearing

I have an HPI Pro3 with a 118 spur and 27 pinion with a 9t cryptonite motor, the speed is okay but what can I use to make it faster? The kit gears are for stock racing, how will I gear taller for the modified motor? How much timing should I use?

hi gear down by using 30T, your FDR is too high with your current gearing.

realy depends on where you run, just remember that your motor should have reached its peak before the corner of the main straight. That should be your guide on choosing the correct timing and how our inside speed would be.

Peace!!!!
