Gearing advice

I'm after a rough starting point for gearing a 11x2 in a touring car? I would say the track is medium length, but with some twisty stuff also.
If it helps, the motor is a Team Brood with the 'v' type endbell and I will be running 6 cells.

Any advice appreciated. :)

I guess for a 11 turn motor normally should be geared about 7.5-8.0 ratio.

but it's all depend on the batteries and esc can pull without overheating the motor at the end of the run. so try out different gears to give you the most acceleration and after run temperature on the motor. 160 degree F on the motor is still very safe.
