Default Thanks

Want to say thanks to Scotty and his whole team for an amazing week of racing. Can't thank you guys enough! This was probably the most fun I've ever had r/c racing, can't wait for next year.

I'd also like to thank all the guys who helped me out. Bruce Carbone from Speedmerchant for the best cars, Jack and Danny for the best tires and batteries, Spektrum for my awesome DX3R and Jim from Tekin for the amazing little RS speedo.

Also would like to thank all the guys pitted around me for the entertainment and borrowing all kinds of stuff, including pinions (thanks Mike and Mike) And Timmy..you are the tire truing man! I'll let you use my truer anytime bud! And Casey..no words for you.haha. Thanks again. I was glad I could give back to you guys a little by providing some good video footage on my Laptop

Whats up Guys.

I was definately not there this year,
I was wondering if there were any videos of the A mains floating around Mr, internet by now?

I know "Nashracer" has some good footage on his site but I was unable to find A mains.

And as far as Paulie is concerned,
I wont sing his praises until the results from his urine sample are back from the lab.

Scotty and crew - AWESOME job!! I love coming to the races you are promoting. I appreciate all you guys sacrifice for us racers. I have just started planning my race vacations around your races - guaranteed to be fantastic racing and world class production. Thank you again Scotty and Crew!

Part of having fun at races is the people around you and the people you meet. I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I look forward to the next time we can run together and share some good times.

To all of the 2008 IIC racers - Thanks for making this one of the best races I have attended. Each and every one of you contributed in some way, whether we raced against each other or not. Thanks guys!!!!!!

Scotty and Staff - Thanks for the all the time and effort you guys put into making the 2008 IIC race a great event. Even with the idiots stealing your trailer, you guys did not let that effect the racing program at all. The fact that some people did not know about the theft until Jack and Drew gave the donations to Scotty speaks volumes about how comitted you guys were to making this race go on as planned. Class act guys!!

Jack and Danny - Thanks for the conversation Saturday night. Always nice to see some of the top dogs in this industry take the time to talk to the average joe. Can't wait to see and use some of the stuff you guys are working on.

Steve Weiss - Thanks for the setup help all week. Car was great in the C Main, but the driving was another story. See you soon

Barry Baker - Thanks for casino therapy session Friday night. Unfortunately old habits die hard. See you at the track

Paulie, Brian Winn, Bear, Mario, Mike Blackstock, Josh Cyrul, Bruce Carbone, Beavis, Walt Henderson, EA, Mrs. EA, Yeti, Smyka, Carissa - It was nice to get a chance to meet and talk to all of you.

Casey - As I told you Saturday, YOU GOT NO GAME, SON!!!!!!!!!!

There was an air of fun surrounding the event this year that I don't think I have seen since the first IIC. Whether it was the World GT class, the amateur class, or just the venue, I noticed people having FUN at a race. As the weekend went on it seemed to build in intensity. The mains on Saturday were some of the best racing I have ever seen in 24 years of racing....consistently clean and exciting for the most part. I got to meet many people who I have had the priveledge of corresponding (ie fighting) with online.
To everyone who has thought about attending a major event: this race is a blast. You get to meet some of the greatest names in the sport and just hang out with them. You get help and support from racers and manufacturers alike. Scotty and his crew make EVERYONE feel as important as the world champion pitting a few rows away. This is why we support this race every year. I am so happy everyone else had a good time because I sure did.

I woke up after getting some real sleep. at first I thought someone had snuck in durring the night and donky kicked me in the ribs.

It took about 15 minutes of blurry thinking to realize that it was from laughing all week.

No problem at all man, it was my pleasure. I got to thank Scotty again for asking me to join the crew. Though staying in the ballroom all night by yourself kind of sucked I really enjoyed everything. IIC 2009 or Bust!

Just wanted say RJ and I had a great time, even with all of my technical difficulties during the week, saturday made it all worth the while.

Great race with Still Bill on the last few laps and finally finished a 1/12 round.

Hats off to Jamie and the entire tech crew for everything you guys did throughout the week.

Thanks Scotty for a great race and week as usual, my parents were on the edge of their seats with your turn by turn calling of the races.
